Indian Railways — train schedule and delay

Train number 14674 which was supposed to be depart by 11.50 am on 1st december '17 from amritsar jn got rescheduled to 4.30 pm and now its almost 6, still its in platform only. I' be to pay the transportation charge towards station twice due to this and moreover who gonna pay for the time we lost on trusting railways. At least an intimation message was enough to plan accordingly in an unknown place. I believe each train departs with lots of preparation and planning. Or is it something like 'get one engine and pull the attached trunk'. Already passengers need to baer the poor quality of cabin and toilets, on top of that these type o[censored]nprofessional service. Shame on you.
