Hello, This is the first time I am using a forum like this, hoping I would get a logical answer and solution to my complaint. Firstly I see no surprise about Arrogant and Stubborn behaviour of customer care ppl, because this is India.

But today i am quite pissed off, because i learnt, that even if they understanad the problem, they refuse to admit and continue to keep telling same information again and again like a recorded tape.

I purchase PhotonMax Wifi In Jan 2014 by paying a total of 5000/- for their 3 months 15gb unlimited
plan offer. After 3 months the 15gb plan continues. In April new bill cycle started, I was expecting my April bill by the 2nd week of May, but on May 11th they disconnected my connection. ( FYI: My billing due date is of 22nd
May.)

When asked I was told that your bill is outstanding and you have to pay your bill to continue your service. I was surprised, I told them that due date is 22nd May, Why they are forcing me to pay now? .The answer was, its
showing in the system, so you have to pay, we can;t do anything... ...After an 30 mins of argument, she put me on hold for 15 mins and then replied, that my credit limit is over. 1500/- is my plan + taxes comes to 1685/-,

Its common sense that whoever did data entry a credit limit of 1500 is too low. because moment bill is generated, it will terminate my connection, then what is the use of Bill's due date. In my view credit limit comes in play only if i fail to pay my bill after due date. So its their fault that they set credit limit lower then my bill amount. I explained this to customer care Level 1 then her senior and level 3 guy. But non where ready to help, they continuously keep say only one thing, pay your bill.

I went to local tata photon shop in kandivali west. White house buidling. The girl sitting there said, i understood your problem, you are right, but i am sorry I can;t help. ... wow i must say, i cannot find a helpful statement more then this. I raised my voice, what do you mean, i am right, but you can;t help... she looked at me as if i did the crime, on that she replied, sir you pay 600 rs and your line will be activated... I said this is not the right thing... but she started acting as she is not listening to me...

It was my insult, after much of request, she called another staff member and did some discussion and said i am sending request, and by evening it will be activated. I waited till evening, since still it was not activated, i called up on call center number to find out and surprise was waiting for me... he said i will have to wait till 15th May to get my line reactivated again... what the hell ...

I went back to shop in kandivali west, I asked her, you promised that line will be activated by evening, but its still not done... I have a conference call at 10:30... on that she replied, I am telling you, it will not be activated, you will have to pay 600 rs. Damm!!


!Even if you do not wish to become angry, but these guys leaves no choice for you.

My internet connection is stopped at the moment and i have no clue when its going to start again. but the point
to be noted here is that even if its their system fault or user who entered wrong credit limit to my account, they refused to accept it and their unwillingness to correct it and help me to restore my connection. and
ofcouse not to forget the mental harrasment.

Any advice please.

I wrote an email to mailto:customercare.[protected]@tatatel.co.in (Appellate Authority)

A person named hemant called me up and now the height is that he too says the same thing, that credit limit is less and hence connection is stopped and he cannot do anything. He does agrees with the fact that if 15gb unlimited plan bill is of fix 1500+Taxes the credit limit should not be just 1500/-.

But he adds that he still cannot activate my connection. I am surprised that even Appellate Authority does not have any authority to take decision. I said I have already deposited the cheque, but still he is not ready to help and just keeps telling "Kya mai appki aur sahaita kar sakta hu" ... OH GOD...

The is the level of Customer service of TATA PHOTONmax WIFI. ...


As a customer, please advice with who should i take this matter up .

Here comes the email from their end.. they are increasing credit limit, but still indirectly refusing to activate connection
until my cheque is cleared.


I am feeling helpless.


Please advice how much of refund I should claim.
