JMD Skoda — misselling

Another issue here ...I have seen advt in TOI recently about SKODA Rapid at an Interest rate of 0% as Diwali celebrations extended offer... I did purchase SKODA Rapid for this Diwali and took VWF India pvt ltd for 36 months for 5 lacs... However I was given the same at 5.5% ROI Don't understand the customer differentiation here.. Kindly explain - 1. Why was I not given the above offer?? If it was because of only few Days after it got launched... Kindly provide me the launch date of this scheme... 2. Why was this offer never mentioned by anybody(despite escalations for other issues as per mail trail) anytime during the sale process?? 3. Also, I saw in advt that Select skoda cars are also available in Canteen Store Dept... I am eligible for the same as I hold an ex- army status and may have gone for a higher model if it was feasible...Why was this not told to me even after my enquiry at the time of sales?? Is it because JMd doesn't want to promote sale through Canteen store dept for whatever reasons?? Once again looks like Skoda is fooling customers by showing attractive offers and not converting the same into customer benefits! Complaint email extract on 27 Nov 2013(Partly resolved post too many followups) Dear Customer care manager, I am writing to you with a serious dissatisfaction of my experience with JMD Auto, Sanpada during sales. I went to JMD Auto, Sanpada with an intent to book New Skoda Rapid Leisure edition on 13 Oct 2013. I met Mr. Vinod Wadkar(sales team leader) and discussed the offers and other details. With reference to website specifications of the special Leisure edition offer and as per provided brochure, there was a confirmation of all the provisions with 5*5 Scheme along with discounted offer for corporate customer. I paid a token amount of 50K INR on the same day for booking. The vehicle is still under process of registration and accessories fitments. Yesterday when I visited the showroom, I was shocked to hear two statements from the accessories representative- 1. Alloy wheels are not available and will be fit into the car when they receive it from the company! Currently, they will be able to rim wheels only and could not confirm of any dates for the alloy wheels 2. The alloy wheels when they come will be 14 inches and not 15 inches as it was earlier specified and confirmed at the time of booking. The reason quoted was that from this current month Skoda has decided to provide 14 inches alloy wheels for leisure in contrast to 15 inches which was provided earlier. On speaking to Mr. Wadkar on these points, I get the following replies- 1. "If I need the delivery of the vehicle soon, I can go with rim wheels only and wait for alloy wheels later"- My question is, is this something that came to his news only in last two weeks?? Why was this not communicated to me earlier at the time of booking or whenever it was known to him?? Does the team feel customers will not be bothered about these small things and accommodate with no choice left?? 2. "Since this month we will provide 14 inches alloy wheels from dealer side"- Why was this not conveyed to me at the time of booking as my booking was almost 2 weeks old?? He had clearly confirmed at the time of booking that Skoda company issued 15 inches alloy wheels will be provided to me..Why this change now? 3. He confirmed that he will speak to manager about this and revert only by Monday..I asked him to revert today as I am really irritated on the handling and need to escalate the matter as soon as possible, for which I get the reply as to manager doesn't work on Sunday and hence no reply will be given before Monday Also, till date- 1. 5*5 Scheme- I have not received any documentation of evidence of 5*5 scheme provision provided to me 2. Volkswagen finance-No documentation of Volkswagen finance has been provided to me. This is despite the confirmation from the finance representative that he will send me a copy of the agreement and other details 3. Car registration- I have provided Original electricity bill, House possession letter(CIDCO) and AAdhar card along with my ex-serviceman and doctor registration certificates for registration of car; but the dealer is yet not able to tell me when will the car get registered and delivered to me!!! The dealer still feels address proofs are insufficient and had requested for an affidavit with 5000 INR (payment without receipt to RTO) for the registration. I fail to understand this! 4. Leisure logo- Mr Wadkar said that he will not be provide Leisure logo. I want to understand how does Skoda manufacture lesser number of such Logos as comparison to number of Leisure models to be sold?? If it was not a relevant item in the car, why is it even assured to the customer when it cant be provided? 3. I have to keep asking for clarifications from the dealer for every small things on my own and they are happy to revert/not to revert as per their convenience 4. I heard of 100% financing offer and EMI holiday scheme for which I wrote an email to [protected]@skodajmd.com (attached for your ready reference) to which nobody bothered to respond...If not interested, why does Skoda initiate such offers? I am extremely dissatisfied with the sales experience till date and I feel I have been cheated by JMD Auto on all the above aspects. I feel I had better offer and service options from other dealers and car companies to buy. I would not be interested in taking over the car delivery till I am satisfied with the corrective actions/responses from Skoda. I am also going to ask my banker to stop payment of the finance cheques issued for the payments. I may be forced to cancel the booking on the above. I want to see corrective actions and responses on each of my issues raised above within the next 3 working days from Skoda before I decided to publish my discomfort in all the possible social websites and broker reviews to discourage people from buying from this dealer as well as Skoda.
