[Resolved]  Kellogg India Pvt Ltd — Found Worm/maggot in Chocos Moon & Stars (Manufacture date: March 2014)

I found a maggot, in fact many maggots inside the Kellogg's Chocos (Moon & stars) stock which I had purchased last month. My son who 3.5 years old loves chocos and has been eating the same at least thrice a week for the last 1and half years. I only noticed it after the maggot has dislodged from the chocos when mixed with milk. After which I broke open every piece to find a maggot in every 2nd or third star mould. I later went and purchased another box of chocos from the same supermarket and realised there were some maggots in that fresh pack too. I always buy all products only after checking the expiry date and both these packs bought have a good 4 months of shelf life still left on them. ( Date of Manufacture: March 2014). When I complained to the Kellogg's hot line number, I got a call from their area manager after 24 hours saying they will replace the 2 packs purchased but that is not what I want. I don't know for how long my son has been eating maggots for breakfast and I don't know how many more kids out there are unknowingly consuming this bad batch of chocos. I want the company to take responsibility and want to take this matter to court so that the whole of India can know that big reputed companies who we trust cannot take us for granted. They should pay for this. Please help me take this forward.
