I am a kotak credit card customer for the last 5 years with credit card # [protected] and crn #[protected], due to some recent financial hardship i could not make the payments of my card since january 2020.in the past i always made my payments on time. Every time i received a call from the collection department/ recovery agency i told them that i am willing to pay the full amount but currently going through some financial hardship and cannot make my payments, i am trying my best options to arrange for the funds but i need some time. I also told them that i will bear all the financial charges till i make the final payment. From the last couple of months, i am getting so many abusive and threatening calls from these collection/recovery departments/agencies that i am suffering from anxiety and mental stress due to their bad and abusive behavior. They are using kotak bank name and when i asked them to authenticate themselves they clearly deny and starts abusing. I tried to make them aware of my situation but they were not ready to hear anything. These collection agents are now calling my colleagues, friends, family members and threatening/abusing them. I don't deserve to be mentally harassed by these recovery agencies who are inhuman and are not sensitive to anyone's situation and behaving like punk. They ignored all rbi guidelines for fair collection procedure and safeguarding customer's privacy. Was this information helpful? |
