Kotak Mahindra Bank
I (a very senior citizen) wanted to open a Savings Bank account jointly with my wife (also a very senior citizen) and employed daughter.
The bank’s website provides for opening for single operators only! For joint operations one has to approach a Branch. As I do not want to venture out in this pandemic situation, I thought I will talk to them to find out if they can find a way out. But their system provides for only customers and not otherwise, even a prospective customer like me!
The contact numbers received from their website were meant for customers only as the IVR system asked for id numbers!
I think all these banks have provision for opening accounts online only if it is single operator. When will they rise to the needs of the hour?
