On Sep 30th, 2020, My (i20 elite sports) Car General service was done by KUN Hyundai - Pallikaranai (Chennai) branch with pickup and drop facility. Total bill amount was Rs-9602. But the service is not done properly. Due to Covid-19 pandemic situation, after my car service I have not done a test drive. After 8 days (08-Oct-2020) I started my vehicle, and planned to travel to Salem. While I was driving my car on the highway (Near Maduranthakam). I was driving my car at the speed of 100 km per hour and I traveled with so many vehicles nearby my car on the highway. Suddenly my vehicle clutch was not working and I was unable to change the gear also. God saved me from a major accident.

After great effort I somehow managed to pull over my vehicle on the road side with 2 unknown person support. After that I Called KUN Hyundai – Pallikaranai service center and their response was worse and advised me to call a 24/7 Hyundai emergency. I went to the nearby Hyundai service center (Jains Hyundai - Chengalpattu), fixed the clutch issue.

Note : Before 30th Sep 2020, My car clutch and gear were working 100% perfect. Mean I have not raised any complaint during the general service request.

Totally, this is unacceptable; I have paid around Rs -10000 for general service but Kun Hyundai Service center is not done their responsibility. This is not just TV (or) washing machine (or) Fridge service, in case of any issues we can rectify very easily and nobody will suffer.

But here around 3 hours, I suffered a lot on the highway.

Just for changing oil, filter and water wash (Bill amount Rs 9862). please don't cheat customer.

In case this happens at midnight or in a forest area, really, I don’t know how much I will suffer. The good thing is I travelled alone and not travelled with my family.

Still KUN Hyundai is not realizing huge mistake. They looking for only money, even they are not thinking about customer safety.

Definitely I will take legal action, because this should not happen to other Hyundai customers also, because it can be fatal. we will meet in the court.
