Lenovo — Lenovo Laptop having issues within 2 weeks of purchase | |||
It was biggest mistake of my life that I purchased #Lenovo Laptop. I bought Lenovo Ideapad 4th gen i3 s510p on 21-Mar-2014 and it started shutting down abruptly from 4th April ( within a month of purchase!!). Now I am facing issues and service center is not resolving it and nor replacing it. I reported the issue on 7th Apr. The Technical Support team asked me to run a remote diagnosis and they determined that the motherboard of the laptop is corrupted and needs a replacement. Now Lenovo sent me an email yesterday stating that part will be available by 28th Apr and that they will send an engineer only after that. So Now after spending around 40K on a defective product the company is asking me to wait for 20 days so they can repair the defective product rather than replacing the product right away. Is it my problem? Should I not use laptop till 28th-Apr, more than a month of my purchase date? And first of all why did the product went bad within a month. The thought of running out of warranty for this project just scares me now. I am pretty sure hence forth I am not going to buy anything from Lenovo and neither I am going to recommend it to anyone. I spoke to Naveen Saya - he is delivery technical supervisor- the only thing I heard from this gentleman was 28th April. That’s the key milestone date for Lenovo to get a solution if at all they can do anything. I advise everybody not to buy any #Lenovo product in future.
