LIC of India — Misbehaviour against customers | |||||
Dear Sir, This is to inform you that today, my mother Bhavneet Kaur Sethi went to Mohali Phase-2 branch of LIC to deposit the premium and I'm sorry to say that she had to face the worst behaviour possible in the branch. There was a long queue and actually, no queue for ladies. The systems were not working and the person sitting on reception asked my mother to request the lady in the accounts department to get the work done. The lady from the accounts section was actually sitting there and just chit-chatting with coulleagues. The name of the lady is Mrs. Parminder Kaur. On requesting her, she started shouting and growling badly. Is it so because she is a government employee and was sitting in an office? Please tell me whether you are allowed to shout on any of the customers being an employee of any company? Being a government officer, she is in no position to shout on any of the customers. My mother got scared and came out of the branch and told me the whole story after coming back home. Thankfully, I was not there with my mother in your office otherwise I would have created a scene there itself. So what if she is a government employee, even she has a family, what if I start shouting on her. How would anyone feel? I would request you to kindly look into the matter otherwise I won't hesitate to take this issue to the senior level.
