Lifelong Complaints — Warranty obligations not fulfilled

I am writing to seek assistance and share my frustrating experience with the warranty policy of lifelong company regarding a faulty heater.
one year before the last day of the warranty period, my heater ceased to function. I promptly filed a complaint on the same day, providing detailed videos and supporting documentation to the satisfaction of the company. The company acknowledged the heater’s problems.
However, to my dismay, the lifelong customer care representative informed me that the heater is deemed non-serviceable. Their proposed resolution is to refund the invoiced amount after returning the faulty heater. This policy is impractical, especially during the peak winter season in Delhi.
I find it unreasonable that the warranty policy requires customers to return the faulty heater, obtain a refund, and then repurchase a new heater potentially at higher prices during the winter season. This policy seems unusual, and I have not encountered such terms elsewhere.

Despite my resistance to this impractical scheme, the company representatives insisted that the heater is no longer under warranty and cannot be replaced, contradicting their earlier acknowledgment of the heater’s problems.

I am seeking assistance and advice from the community on how to navigate this situation and claim the warranty rightfully. If anyone has experienced a similar issue or has insights into resolving such matters, please share your advice.
