Dear Sirs,
I have opened a PPF A/c. in State Bank of India, Taratola branch, in the Name of my wife on 15.09.2000. My opening balance to that account was Rs.5000. Few days later my job has been shifted and being able to operate the account. Last year I went to that branch and wanted to continue that account. The bank has instructed me to deposit the penalty Rs. 1500 (@Rs.100/year) according I had paid that penalty to the bank. The next day when I went to deposit further amount to that account they told that the ledger is not traceable. Till date the branch manager is not responding regarding that matter.
