Maggi — Notice pertaining to deficiency of service with regard to your product, Maggi Chicken Noodles

(WITHOUT PREJUDICE) 18/05/2015 To, Nestle India Ltd., M-5A, Connaught Circus, New Delhi - 110001 NOTICE WITH REGARD TO DEFICIENCY OF SERVICE Dear Sir / Ma'am, I hereby serve upon you the following notice: 1. That I happened to purchase a single pack of Maggi Chicken Noodles ("Product"), manufactured by your goodselves on 15.05.2015 from Rachit Variety Stores, Paryavaran Complex, Ignou Road, Delhi - 30 ("Retailer"). 2. That the Batch no. for the same is as follows: 50960455CB and the manufacturing date for the same is 06.04.2015 at 19:45. 3. That on opening the aforesaid Product on Monday morning for breakfast i.e. today, to my shock, surprise and disappointment, there was no tastemaker inside the pack which rendered the Product useless. 4. That as a direct consequence of the same, I had to leave for work empty stomach on a Monday morning. 5. That the aforesaid incident reflects gross negligence and deficiency in service rendered by you thereby causing perturbance and annoyance to me. As you would be aware, the same amounts to deficiency of services under the Consumer Protection Act, 1986. 6. That you are hereby notified to take necessary action to fix the aforesaid Deficiency of Service failing which I shall not hesitate to escalate the matter to the appropriate District Forum and shall also inform the journalists dealing with consumer issues about this issue. 7. That with utter disappointment, I also bring it to your kind notice that the aforesaid product forms a part of my diet for the last 25 years but never had there been any gross deficiency like the instant case. You are hereby advised to treat this matter as urgent. A copy of this Notice along with the pack of the Product is being retained by me for records.
