Dear Sir/Madam,
Please note that I am not staying at my flat for the last two years from November 2017 till date and was there for hardly a month in October 2019 when I was in India. I am stuck in Madagascar, a country in Africa because of COVID 19.
During my brief visit to India in 2019, I received a bill forRs 20000+ to pay. When I went and showed them the copy of the letter which I had submitted to their local office at Mumbra in Nasheman Colony stating that the flat will be locked till my return, they brought the amount down to 8000+!
I went personally to MSEDCL office at Bhandup, and had a talk with the Accounts Manager there, he assured me with a note on my complaint for the concerned officer in MSEDCL office at Mek Company Mumbra. This officer at Mek company MSEDCL office did not do anything, even after I implored him that I had to catch a flight the next day early morning.
Now I have received an electricity bill on my email from torrentpower.com to pay around 14000Rs as electricity charges. (Who are these people?).
I assure you that my flat is locked up all these years and I had even submitted a letter from my building society that there is no one staying there in my absence.
My meter was also changed when I was away without my knowledge.
The new meter reading was 16 as on[protected]. The older meter which was removed should have the older reading but the bill with the reading are there in my locked flat at Mumbra along with the copy of my last complaint.
Please advise who are "Torrentpower" who emailed me the electricity bill, kindly investigate and revert at your earliest convenience.
