I am writing this letter to bring to your notice that we have been getting Inflated / Incorrect bills for the last 4 months.
I am quite disturbed and highly disappointed to notice such an irresponsible behaviour of the Electricity board in this matter. I regret to say that you have overcharged me for domestic electricity for the bill date 07-JUL-2015, 05-AUG-2015, 01-SEP-2015 and 03-OCT-2015. It was just not possible for us to have used so much of power during this period as we were not at home during this period and the house was locked.
If you look at the meter reading the Current Reading and Previous Reading shows as 5633 for the bill date 07-JUL-2015, 05-AUG-2015, 01-SEP-2015 and 03-OCT-2015 which means that there is no consumption of electricity at this residential address during this period. Inspite of not using the electricity we were sent high bills of Rs.500 on an average for this duration. The last proper bill received was for the Bill date 05-JUN-2015 which has the Previous reading as 5554 and the current reading as 5633 and after that the meter has not captured any reading which is an indication and a proof that the electricity was not used at this premise. I have attached the copy of disputed bills in the html format for your reference.
I would request a refund / adjustment of the money in the coming bills. Please arrange to make necessary amendments and oblige.
Please revert to this requestl as soon as possible. I will be sincerely and eagerly waiting for your reply.
