This is to inform you regarding a new flat I purchased in a newly constructed project of Vision Ace Society near Indira College, Tathawade, Wakad, the new meters were installed in month of Aug, 2021, initial few months correctly showcased zero consumption rightly so since the flat is not occupied till date without any occupants or tenants,
I was shocked to have received such high electricity bill for the month of Dec, 21 amounting to consumption of 538 units and Rs 6160/-I am quite disturbed as to how such an exaggerated amount of bill could have been reached, It is impossible to imagine getting such exorbitant amount of electricity bill, especially for a flat that is unoccupied till today, Needless to say there has been some anomaly or a breach of duty, or either the new meter appears to be faulty
I have already raised a complaint regarding this issue with MSEDCL, with reference no[protected] on 30th Dec, but till date I have not received any concrete resolution Therefore I personally decided to approach to section official and raise a formal complaint, I would like to inform you, I was appalled at the obnoxious behavior dished out to me by counter executive and the coworkers that I encountered during my visit to below place

Please be informed as an aggrieved consumer, I had gone to visit to the office to claim a dispute as my legitimate right and requested for an inspection of the meter, since I had received a very high electricity bill of a flat for an unoccupied flat, however most of the officers were cohesively rude and they had reached to forgone conclusions (preconceived notion) even without inspection stating that their meters are never faulty and I should not waste my time with them and instead chase the builder for resolution, they were totally unpleasant, unprofessional, uncooperative to us
I would hereby like to request you to please get my meter checked at the earliest, as I intend to use the flat by 31st Jan, 2022, however till the matter is resolved, till the meter continues to show inaccurate consumption, I am not even in a position to use the electricity, because if a vacant can show an extremely high readings of 538 units, just imagine it being moderately used can inflate further beyond normal expectations
I have already paid the electricity bill under obligation till the dispute is settled, I am assured that the excess amount paid would be adjusted in the future billing cycle, I would be eternally grateful if you could settle this matter at the earliest, Also I am attaching the relevant documents like paid electricity bill receipt, meter inspection receipt electricity bill, old readings, current meter reading for your reference
