Mahadiscom / Mseb / Msedcl — Shortage of New Meter

I had applied for new meter (Residencial)on 02-Nov-2021. It has been 36 days now and I haven't got any update yet. I have visited the office three times and they simply say that there is shortage of meter and the meter has not come. They gave me an option of buying a meter by my own. If a consumer can buy a meter then why can't MSDCL?

I have attached the copies of Completed application, Deman note, Payment receipt for your ready reference.
