We bought a car in last year march 2022. and we followed the service records as per manual.at M&N Rajahmundry. We live in overseas and recently we had our service on mid November to December (Not sure about date). We are back to India and when we went for off-road, we noticed that 4 wheel was engaging but it was not displaying on the display screen when we are engaging it. I checked with my parents and they said that they didn't noticed the display. So I gave the car to M & N motors Rajahmundry and asked to fix the problem .When I'm on my way to collect my car they said that they lost the car keys, and the Issue for what I gave my car not resolved, and they said that we need to book a online session to Mahindra and the Tech Guys will resolve it online and asked us to wait for 2 days, Anyways they are good at that time and they said they'll replace the lockset for free as it was their mistake. They said that they'll order one for us and intimate us when it was delivered. We waited for more than a month and they are postponing. We went back overseas and asked my brother to give the car to them ask fox the issue and the lockset.
Apart from that, The only purpose I gave my car is for the 4 wheel engagement(and later lockset). We left the car for almost 4 days, later they called us and said it was done and you collect your car. We went there and the lockset hasn't been replaced and the bill they gave us was almost 18000$ . When my brother asked what was the reason for 18000$ bill, they replied saying that we did the service which needs to be done at 30K KMS, and changed disks/brake pads/ and etc. etc. My ONLY Question was, do you guys intimate before you are changing the brake pads/oil/and all general service or you simply do the service what ever you need and submitting a bill to the customers face? I gave my car for the 4 wheel issue and lockset. They fixed one issue which took very long for them to resolve(That's alright as it was resolved finally) but without intimating us why did they do the service?? . It's been only 3 months we had a service and again they did another one. We paid money and it's all done.. But assume people who don't want their car to get serviced but needs service only for the parts that are damaged and they are not in a state to pay the bill that they didn't requested...? It's very worst that doing what ever you need without intimating the customers and providing a bill and asking to pay...
We used to have XUV500, and it goes to the same store for the service. Driver said that they the worst service and then he is now going to another Service Center (Vijayawada).
Hope you'll look into this and issue and do us the needful.
