Mahindra And Mahindra — XUV 500 breakdown at 10000 kms

I purchased Mahindra XUV 500 W9 in the month of August 2021 through CSD Canteen from Sri Durga Automobiles, 68/3 Najafgarh Road, Near Moti Nagar, New Delhi – 110015 on 18th Aug 2021 and completed the second service on 13th December 2021 at Sri Durga Automobiles, 55 Rama Road, Moti Nagar, New Delhi, after completion of 9200 kms and at that time they did not informed me about any fault and even though they have not done proper wheel alignment which was performed later on 18th December 2021 at Sri Durga Automobiles, 68/3 Najafgarh Road, Near Moti Nagar, New Delhi – 110015. The vehicle met with a breakdown on the way on Jammu & Kashmir National Highway just 3 kms after Chenani-Nashri Tunnel on 21st Dec, 2021 and after long wait for 6-7 hours, roadside assistance took the vehicle to the nearest service centre, Astro India Automobile Pvt Ltd., Distt. Udhampur (J&K). When the car got inspected, the service Manager Jayant informed me that, the dual mass flywheel including clutch cover and disc assembly, slave cylinder and clutch master cylinder were damaged. When I asked the reason, the service manager Jayant as well as Mr Mahesh Jaswal, General Manager, Udhampur area informed me that the damages occurred due to driver’s fault and the repair charges will be billed for Rs. 47885/-, which is not justified and shocking whether the parts fitted in car are genuine or not, as my son is driving for the past 10 years and the driving license is issued by Delhi Transport Department. It shows that licensing authority did not take any driving test and simply issued the license.
In my opinion and sincere advise to Mahindra company that if they are making so specialized vehicle then they should make simulator and give training to customer before handing over the car to match the calibration of driver with the vehicle engine and you should issue proficiency certificate and the transport authorities needs to be closed down. Even though highly paid, your General Manager and work manager o[censored]dhampur and Delhi are giving silly example of Maggie and Diamond. They don’t even know the difference between Automobile and normal usable things as they have given the example you also know that if something is purchased then there is some warranty on whole thing for some period, whereas in my case, vehicle broke down within limited kms within six month and owner has to pay full amount and after so much struggle and expenditure, I received my vehicle back on 30th December. Customers always purchase new vehicles thinking that they will not face any kind of issues for atleast 2-3 years. Now I am forced to say that your company is not supplying genuine parts and there is no responsibility of the company to take care of customer after delivery of the new vehicle.
I called Mahindra With you Hamesha customer service and enquired about the damages happened after vehicle’s running at just 10, 000 kms, so the customer service executive informed me that the service center in Udhampur is the right place to raise the complaint for the damages occurred. But when I spoke to the service manager of Astro India Pvt Ltd, Jayant along with the General manager, Mahesh Jaswal, they implied that the vehicle was driven improperly and it was driver’s mistake that the vehicle’s part got damaged.
I’m not yet convinced that due to driving conditions, the parts got damaged just after running the vehicle for 10, 000 kms. Even though after reaching Delhi, I visited the Mahindra Service Centre at Sri Durga Automobiles, the service manager, KK Chauhan replied that you have repaired the vehicle in Udhampur service center, you need to enquire from there only. I am surprised to note that everybody is passing on others and the reply given by Mahindra employees are not satisfactory. I asked for alternate vehicle when the vehicle was under repair, the General Manager shown inability to provide the same and promised to pay 1500/- per day as conveyance charges as the vehicle broke down, but now they are asking for taxi bills. It is not understood that if your company limit is 1500/- per day for any type of vehicle then why taxi bill is required as they are already aware that I spent more than 1500/- per day and we were forced to stay at Hotel in Batote until 30th December when my car was fixed. If required, I can submit the Hotel bill of my stay. I would request you to please look into the matter and provide me with a valid clarification regarding this as nobody is giving a proper reply for the damages occurred with the parts of the vehicle and the money that I paid for such damages needs to be reimbursed.
