[Resolved]  Mahindra Bolero SLX — Regarding Servicing Issue

Respected Sir, My family owned a Bolero SLE.Vehicle is three and half month old.Its running is just 3800 km and its still in warranty period.During applying my parking brake its wire got broken.Yeterday I went to service center for an issue with parking brake wire.I told them about the problem.They checked it and found out that cable wire of parking break is broken.They renewed those cable wires.Few small problems were also their.After completion of work they asked me to clear the bill.When I saw the bill I was amazed.They have charged me for new hand brake cable wire.I asked person in charge about it he told me that wire is broken due to impact and company wont be giving any warranty for those defect.He also told me that its an impact of a stone which made outer covering to be broken as a result of which inner cable was broken.I argued with him that vehicle is for travelling not for showing and when it will run on roads it will have some impact.Parts should not be so weak that a stone can brake it.They didn't heard my argue and asked me to pay.My Vehicle is running under free service period and during free service it is recommended that parking brake wire should be inspected and replaced as required. I have attached a photograph of broken cable wire and invoice which include all bill of yesterday. I will be highly obliged to you sir if can help me in this regards. Your, Vikas Pandey
