MakeMyTrip.com — Sending a booking quote and than subsequently revising it saying that it was a mistake.

I have received a quote from Make my trip for Amarnathji Yatra. I have sent emails for the receipt of the said quote. And i had confirmed the booking by sending names of people travelling in the evening. But in the evening after i send mail, executive called and said "sir i send you wrong price by mistake and you have to pay Rs. 12000 extra". And today morning i.e. on 15/6/2014 the said executive is saying that he has not received any mails from my side. This is an unresponsible behaviour and false statements from the executive. How can a booking quote be revised subsequently on confirmation of booking when there is no mention about it on the booking quote ?
