Address: Manipal hospital, old airport road |
This is the most pathetic hospital I have come across, taking advantage of patients n their relatives in times of distress n desperate circumstances. My nephew got admitted on 29th June, at the time of admission it was clearly stated to the hospital that he had typhoid n that treatment was incomplete, in spite of having this information, Manipal conducted cancer tests n what not and just the test bill has come upto rs 77000, the total discharge bill being 1, 30, 000 for 3 days hospitalisation no surgery nothing... Is this some kind of a joke ? When asked for what some of the tests had been conducted, noone s able to answer anything. One test that costs 21, 000 rs alone, report has not even come for that test and before that only the patient has been discharged which clearly means that this test was not at all required. Hospitals are an industry I understand, everyone needs money to survive however hospitals like Manipal just take advantage of the despair circumstances and take out every drop of blood from the bill payer's body in the name of tests that are not at all required n just being done as the hospital wants to make a little more money than it is already, how ironic... Pathetic s an understatement for this hospital. My family and relatives visit Manipal hospital n almost gives a business of 10, 00, 000 or more every year but this time is a lesson as they wasn't even and to recognise the problem until discharge n made a gigantic bill of Rs 130000 for nothing...I take a pledge today never ever to visit this hospital for anything ever, even if there is no hospital taking admission I will preferred to die before going to Manipal or recommending anyone in my family n friends to visit this hospital for anything.
There is no difference between this hospital n dacoits... They loot in broad daylight n Manipal hospital s looting in the name of healthcare which they are not even best at this time .
Disappointing n pathetic... Was this information helpful? |
