[Resolved]  Maruti Alto — Maruthi alto met with accident, and taken for service and not delivered after 90 days

Dear sir, My name is nagappan s. mob no [protected], email id [protected]@gmail.com, residing in Annanagar, Chennai, Tamil nadu, India. Vehicle no TN 02 AQ 1395. Earlier, I had maruthi 800 and now I had bought Maruthi Alto. Good vehiicle. Nature of complaint: The vehicle was good and unfortunately met with an accident on 28.6.14. Luckily no one got hurt apart from slight injury. We informed the insurance people, national insurance people came, inspected the vehicle and they took the vehicle from the police station . They never informed about the place where it is getting serviced. We thought it will be serviced by maruthi company but to our surprise it had been handed over to popular motor service, virugambakkam, chennai. After the enquiery they said that he was an agent for maruthialto. Secondly they have not given the worksheet, which is without signature. Even after 77 days we have no record of the estimate of insurance amount nor the repair charges nor the expected date of delivery. I have been put into lot of hardship and also the confidence on maruthi, our morale on the company has gone down. Since we were using maruthi procut from past 20 years, now we are compelled to go for purchasing other than maruthi. This is very pathetic and now we are doubting the services and the products of maruthi. Kindly help us to get our vehicle and inform about the delivery status.. Is this the way to treat a customer? I request the higher officials of maruthi to take a strict action on populer motors and the insurance company. Kindly inform me about the proceedings and you can also call my mobile. Regards, S.
