I bought a Maruti Suzuki Baleno Zeta Diesel in 2016 and clocked 64000kms.
I would like to bring to your notice that a few days back as I was on a go with my family in my Baleno car ... suddenly the steering wheel got stuck in the middle of the road as I was taking a turn . I had to apply sudden brakes to stop the car ... The car from the opposite direction also had to apply brakes due to the wrong positioning of my car ... Somehow after sometime the steering started moving ... Then I took my car to the Maruti workshop ... I was briefed that this is a common problem with Baleno cars of steering getting stuck and they even told me that the Maruti had intimated all the customers and changed the steering column and motor of cars that were purchased in 2016. Now they are asking me to pay them RS 45000- Rs 48000 ... to replace the concerned part which is absolutely not right on the part of Maruti Suzuki as I was never informed either verbally or thru letter or post about the part being changed by the company .
Sir this was absolutely not right on the part of Maruti Suzuki for not informing me about the problem and getting it rectified ... It could have been life threatening for me and my family members so I request you to look into the matter and get my faulty steering column and motor rectified with no charges ie FREE OF COST
I have been a Loyal customer of Maruti and this is my fourth Mariti Suzuki car in a row and i have never faced such a problem ever in any of the cars. I had purchased the car from NEXA, Perungudi, Chennai. Was this information helpful? |
