My car was given for servicing on 29/06/2022, with a complaint to attend, of dashboard backlight lits continuously (ignition key out). At the time of delivery, because of bright daylight, it could not be made out. But at night it was noticed that the backlights were lit. Next day I visited the workshop and complained about it. I was told, I will be called soon after the availability of the required spare. I did not received any call, so I revisited, after waiting for few days. Again I was assured of call back, once the availability of the required spare to test. I have not received any call till now. Present status: I am abroad now, and the car is not starting, as the battery is drained because of continuously backlight lit.
What action/solution do "The Maruti Suzuki" have for this issue?
