Maruti Suzuki — non completion of job work in estimated time

My sx4 diesel needed change of synchronization ring of 3rd gear in the gear box as the gear was not working properly. This part is still in warranty The checked the part in store and opened the job sheet. After they opened the gear box completely they said the part is not available.
