The Vehicle No. DL-1C-L5103 met with an accident on 28.05.2015 and the damaged vehicle was brought to the Shakumbari Automobiles, Kotdwara somehow on 29.05.2015 at 9.45 am vide security check slip No. 180525. I was assured by the officials that the vehicle shall be got repaired within 7-10 days. A few photostat papers which were faded and could not be read was put up before me and i was asked to sign to get the benefit of insurance claim. I did the same. Since that day i was only informed on 18.06.2015 through SMS from [protected] that total bill amt. 24153 amt u hv to pay 8415 and another SMS was that Vech will be read tody by 5 pm at 13:48 on the same day i.e. 18.06.2015. I reached the work shop at 10.15 am on 21.06.2015 two days later after the promised time i.e. 5 pm on 18.06.2015. Only then the actual work started I remained there till 4:00 pm in mental agony. The vehicle was delivered to me in unsatisfactory condition resulting in my harassment, mental torture and the deficiency in service. Even after 24 days the vehicle remained in unsatisfactory condition. The remarks were given by me on the bill/ invoice No.BR15000122 as well as on the gate pass of the vehicle. I feel cheated by the Shakumbari Automobiles as they charged me undue, without going through the actual damages to the vehicle by accident. Neither the surveyor estimated the damages properly in connivance with the Shakumbari Automobile staff. I was never told/informed/emailed about the estimate during the 24 days stay of the vehicle in the workshop. The meter reading of the vehicle was 53212 as per security check slip.
after taking the delivery in unsatisfactory condition I brought the vehicle in delhi on 22.06.2015. The vehicle sound/ noise increased with the passing of every kilometer. I took the vehicle today i.e. 22.06.2015 to another maruti authorised dealer workshop the the meter reading says 53449. A tentative estimate of Rs.11, 000/- has been handed over to me which is due to poorest quality of service and negligence on the the part of Shakumbari Automobiles, Kotdwara. This immediate expenditure should be paid by the Shakumbari Automobiles at their risk and cost of the Shakumbari Automobiles failed in giving quality service, and fooled/cheated me.
The above letter may kindly be acknowledged and the stern action be taken against the erring automobiles as well as pay damages/additional expenditure paid by me due to total negligence on the part of Shakumbari Automobiles. Was this information helpful? |
