[Resolved] Max Life Insurance — Delay in processing of term policy application | |||
Dear sir/ madam, I have submitted a cheque for a term policy plan to mr. Viddesh at panaji office, goa in march 2016 and underwent medical tests for the same in march 2016. A month later, i was then informed to come to the office to fill a back pain questionnaire, which i did promptly. However, there was no further communication and when my agent contacted the office on his accord in june 2016, he was informed that my term policy cannot be considered for the previous financial year. Mr. Viddesh informed me to resubmit a cheque for the new financial year. This delay in service and communication has caused a loss of tax rebate on the term policy amount of over rs.3000. My visits to the office to sort out the matter has also led to loss of time and money from staying away from my clinic. I would be grateful if this matter can be sorted out with compensation for the loss of tax rebate and a fresh term policy issued.
