We have Morphy Richards Food Processor ICON SUPER on 25/Oct/2021 and there are multiple problems within first month:
1) After usage at the inner bottom side of the jar there will gold colour powder layer, which is coming due to brass
2) The blade becomes loose as a result of deteriorating brass because o[censored]sage.
After calling customer care, a Technician visited and said that it is common and no need to worry. He fixed the blade and left.
After few days while using the wet jar, we see the water is leaking from bottom of the jar. We are able to call Technician again and found that the brass plate was completely deteriorated and due to that there is a gap and need to be replaced.
As the product is still in warranty, so we got a new jar.
But in May 2022 we are facing the same issues as above and now they are not ready to replace the jar even though it is under warranty. Instead they are suggesting to buy the jar for Rs. 1850.
As per technician, there is no repair for blade tightening and no chance to replace brass plate, so need to buy a new jar.
So I asked the Technician whether this is a common problem or not and whether it is known to them and company and he informed that this is known issue to them and as well to the company, but could not do anything as there is no chance to repair.
Even the company is aware about the issue, still they are producing this USELESS PRODUCT AND FOOLING PEOPLE.
Even If I get a free replacement of the jar, how I can trust the jar as it might be working for next few weeks/months.
My expectation for this product was it will be used for next 7 to 10 years.
So my question is within 6 months if i have to change 3 jars for this brand, what kind of product is this.
The company (Morphy Richards and Bajaj Electronics) are you expecting me to keep on buying jars.
I have an old grinder which was bought in 2010 and it is still working and it is MADE IN INDIA and a lot cheaper and can be repaired with minimal cost anywhere in INDIA.
I have already wasted nearly Rs. 9000 for buying this and also wasting time to discuss with Customer Care and Technicians.
HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED WITH PRODUCT AND SERVICE AND WILL NOT RECOMMEND TO BUY THIS PRODUCT.
Request you to take an action against this company.
Also I see the complains history about Morphy Richards products, I see there are more than 250 complaints and they are able to resolve only 27% of them. This shows how much respect they do have towards INDIAN Customers.
