Motorola — sim slot not working

Hello. I bought my Motorola moto e last in in month of November last year from online shopping site flipkart and now I am facing a problem. The sim slot 2 of my phone is not working relating to this I talked to one of employee online via text messaging and that person told me about your service centre in lajpath nagar shop number E-26 I went their and they told me that the sim slot of my mobile is damaged and it will not be repaired under warranty period so I have a complaint regarding this issue that if you are providing me with warranty on a product than its your responsibility to repair it so my phone should be repaired under the warranty period only. Thank you
