Normally silt and debris removal from the storm water drains is done in the month of April at Vidyavihar East in front of MIG colony, close to the railway station. This year, work is not yet started and the monsoon is fast approaching. This area is flood prone during monsoon and if the drains are not clean there is bound to be flood water inside homes. There has been a constant traffic jam near IIT Powai closing the bus lane from Last Year and still it is not opened. What the hell BMC is doing there. 20 min ride has became of one hour. Atleast we use bikes so that we can make way from the sides. What abt driving a four wheeler. They might find it very difficult.
