We are the residents of Suryadarshan Tower B CHS Ltd located at Nitin Junction Vaitiwadi, Thane ( west ). we are facing acute water shortage problems since last 1 year. our Main water pipe line from TMC was broken while Road cementing work carried out by TMC during april - may 2010. now no one is bothered to repair it & solve our water problems. we are literally begging for water every day. our society has been regularly paying water...

This is to draw notice towards wastage of water in Thane. TMC doesnot supply water in the after noon and provides water late night. People try to fill there utensils as much as they can and turn on their tap throughout the night so as to fill their buckets. Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) has been given an industrial plot on Road No 26 Wagale estate on lease by MIDC for indutrial related activities (repairs of vehicles).
However it has already been bought to TMC notice that the plot is currently being operated as a dumping ground for garbage .

There is a lot of smell in the vicinity which is intolerable and affecting public and labour health, mosquitoes are breeding...

The Thane Muncipal Corporation is turning blind eye to a spate of illegal constructions going on in Lokmanya Nagar, Thane west-400606.

A builiding which was demolished thrice is again constructed and now with 7 floors. When will the encroachment team wake up? The TMC will not only help proliferate but also will extend the public amenties like electricity, water etc.

I am a resident of New Bramhand Annex CHS Phase 8, Dharmachapada, Azad Nagar, Thane.

Recently, since the last 2 weeks, we are getting bad quality of drinking water. It has a yellow color and bad smell. On leaving the water in utensils, one can see a layer of soil at the bottom of the utensil, after the water settles down.

Can the TMC commissioner take a look into this matter since this impacts our health....
