Nokia Care — Fake reason for not providing free service in warranty period | |||
HI myself Kausik Dutta Mobile number [protected] I have Nokia XL mobile which is in warrenty period and i had a problem of front speaker i was not able to lisent any of my calls so i visited Nokia care at ghatkopar west on saturday i submitted the mobile and after 10 min they said that ther e was some liquid inserted from USB cable and we will not consider as free service and you will be charged 340rs for servicing and if afterwards it is not working we need to change the speaker which will cost you additional. I told them it's not liquid it might be moisture as the USB port has some open space in every mobile and also the USB port is at the bottom of the mobile and the front speaker is at the top of the mobile so there is no connection between the but they didn't agree. Then i took the mobile as it is and went to a local shop near me he said that the speaker is not working and he replaced the front speaker for rs 200 and i asked hi is it related to any thik which is in USB port as the Nokia care engineer said to me he said it is just moisture nothing releated to front speaker. So what is the use of warranty if you are not giving me free service because ther was no swet or any thing in the front speaker or near to it, and if you are asking me for 340rs for servicing and not giving me guarantee that it will be working fine so what the use of nokia care? 340rs +speaker charges or just 200 rs for speaker which is good? now i had change the speaker and my mobile is working good.
