Nokia India — expiry of warranty before date

i recently purchased nokia lumia 720 in the month of july that is ( 01/07/2014), Im having problem with volume up button. so i contacted nokia care .. they are saying my warranty expired in the month of a august ( 09/08/2014) ...how can this be possible????? the warrant should be 1year from the date of purchase...so please kindly rectify my problem regarding this, , , thanking you Rama mohana rao ph: [protected] [protected] email: [protected]@gmail.com
