[Resolved] Nokia — Most Pathetic Service Received: Nokia Lumia 730 | |||
This is with respect to Nokia Lumia 730 brought by us in the month of December 2014. From the time the phone was purchased, we have not been able to use the phone even for a day continuously without issues. Post purchase from day one the phone had issues. When the call ended, the phone would become in-responsive. Also issues were faced during access of various applications & network. At times to the normal eyes the phone looked as ok, but when someone tried to call they used to get a response as the phone is switched off or not reachable. All these problems were highlighted during the below mentioned visits. • Purchased in December from Vivana Mall, Ezone store in December • Sent back to the store & onward to Nokia Service centre Thane, The phone was returned back stating that it is was Software issue and has been updated. This happened in the month of January—Issue during call end & application issues. • Submitted the back phone to the Nokia service centre—Sarvesh Telecom— at Malad with the same problems. • They tested the phone for two days and then informed us that phone has been sent to Gurgoan for repairs since it is were not repairable locally. • Received the phone back but the problem still persisted even though it was communicated that the problem has been resolved. • Submitted the phone back to Sarvesh Telecom for the above mentioned issues. • After two days again we were informed that the phone has been sent to Chennai for repairs this time. • Then after few days were got a call informing that our phone cannot be repaired and hence a replacement phone has been received i.e. a new phone in place of the one submitted. • On receipt of new phone on verification by us, the camera lens had multiple scratches. The customer service associate at Sarvesh Telecom informed that the outer body belonged to us & only the mother board was changed. This was never informed to us & we were communicated that a new phone has been sent across. And when we told the associate that we will not accept the phone and that shall complain he was suggesting the phone will be sent back for repair & no interest in resolving the issue. We never expected such a pathetic service from Nokia & raises serious image damaging questions. How was the QC done? Did it fail 3 times? What are the quality standards set ? We have not taken the delivery of the phone from the service centre & still present with Sarvesh Telecom. Please address our grievance. We do want any replacement from Nokia & request please provide back the purchase amount of Rs.15000 plus taxes. Along with the above we also ask for compensation for the trouble taken to visit the service centre multiple times which was a waste our time & money which we could have used to buy a better phone of a different brand.
