OneAssist Consumer Solutions — Insurance complaint not accepted | |||
When I purchased the my iPhone 128 GB gold from the Apple Store they suggested I take the OneAssist insurance as it covers theft as well as 2 free replacement on physician damage by water or if it breaks down by mistake. I took my phone in January 2015 and the insurance is valid for 1 year, my phone broke ones in April and they replaced it but in August when my replaced phone fell in water it stopped working and I went to claim for insurance and they said that it can't be replaced as we dint submit the IMIE number and photos of the new phone. They were the ones who gave the approval for phone replacement and they don't tell me that this was essential to give them the new phones IMIE number and photos for keeping the Insutnace valid. Not a single communication about it. And then they say we can't replace. On the first call to the customer care they said the phone can be replaced only ones and so I went back to the Apple Store who sold me the insurance along with the phone and I told him you had told free twice replacement then why are the refusing. He called one Assit and they said yes it's twice after that. Was this information helpful? | |||
