I got a call from a guy. He pretended to be calling on behalf of the ICICI Bank (I own ICICI credit card)
He: You are using icici credit card since long time with regular payment so we provide you one discount card. This card is totally free just need to verify your credit card detail. Enquired about my card number, birth date.

I told the details.

He: now u can receive one sms from ICICI and that is a your discount card number so pls save this number and so it when curiour man deliver card at your home , without this number u do not get card . I cut call and call u again in 5 minutes, mean while u saves number from sms.

As i have never used my card for any online payment i was unaware of its procedures and thought the call is been made from ICICI bank, so i blindly followed what he said.I wrote it down pin number in paper.

5 min later. Again Got the call from same number.

He: Have u got the sms. tell me the number in sms.
Me: I told that number.
He: in one week u get that discount card and cut call.
After 10-15 mins I saw sms from ICICI that 5,999 deduct from ur account for super saver card payment.
In such way that incidence was happened.


This thing happened many o[censored]s. Please tell me if anybody has taken any action.
I want strict action to be taken against this company for fraud.
