Onlinemedicalstore.com — Refund issues... Very bad response... Fraudulent acts observed at refund question

I purchased 3 medicines form online medical stores on 16th of july...

They posted the item on 23rd july

Received only 2 medicines after 8 days, but the packet had bill for all three... when the most expensive item was missing...

On complaining they accepted refund...

They passed refund of less amount...

What online medical store have to say... is very complicated

For item number - (3)...40 tablet pack (price rs 67/-) was not available therefore we sent 80 tablet pack (price rs 134/-)
Point to be noted is they did not confirm this form me, they took their own decision

Item number - (2)... price rs 500/- was not available therefore it was not sent.

Now the calculation

The refund should have been rs 500 less rs 67 (for 40 additional tablets worth rs 67/-)

O it should have been 500 - 67 = 433

But they have given refund of only rs 400

For rest of amount of rs 33/- they have to say that service tax is charged

Strange!!!

In an online bill at the time of checkout..&. payment you pay every thing tax, shipping cost, whatever is chargeable is given as full total amount at the end. so all taxes were paid at that very moment at the time of purchase.

It was an online purchase, the product which was not available at all was shown available, therefore i paid for that

After 8 days... after number of telephone calls... emails and abuses... they gave a refund... that too was rs 33/- less... saying tax...

How can some body charge tax on a non-sold item
