Passport Office Delhi — Too much delay in process and no status update

Hi Team,

I have an Indian passport and applied for a re-Issue of Passport due to a change in Birth Place Name.

File No: DL[protected]

Two appointments I had made for this re-issue
1. With Passport Office - RK PURM
2. With RPO Passport Office Delhi

Even with full required documents as per law to change the wrong birthplace.
(Birth certificate by Gram Panchayat and Judicial Court Order for the same) still, it is taking too much time and not getting the proper status of my passport even I am trying my best to follow them on Twitter @passportsevamea and @RPODelhi only they replied to me that - Confirmation from concerned authorities regarding your birth certificate is still awaited. Further processing will be done upon receipt of the same, but where and which authorities they sent for verification no clue on that, and even not interested seems to be to tell us. It is pending from last 1 month.

Is this digital India, 2 months for getting court order for birth certificate and then to change it on passport indefinite time... no value of time bit surprised.

Please help me to speed up it process so that I can apply for my VISA and join my family in The Netherlands ASAP.
