Patanjali Ayurved Ltd — Not refunding balance after WRONG product delivery
I bought 3kg of Herbo Wash Advance Matic detergent powder *MEANT FOR WASHING MACHINE USE* and worth Rs.555 (3 x Rs.185/kg) via www.patanjaliayurved.net. Along with two packets of Poha worth Rs.68, I *paid a total of Rs.623 online, in advance, on 12-OCT-2020*. After more than a week, I received a shipment box that contained Poha, and 3kg of Herbo Wash Powder that was *MEANT FOR HAND-WASH*, and worth ONLY Rs.210 (3 x Rs.70/kg). I filed a service ticket with PatanjaliAyurved.net (ticket #[protected]) on 22-Oct-2020, asking to refund the balance of Rs.555-Rs.210 = Rs.345. Since there was no response from Patanjali Ayurved, I filed two more follow-up tickets (#[protected] and #[protected]) and also sent emails to their customer care ([protected]@orderme.co.in) several times during the period 22-Oct-2020 to 29-Oct-2020, *with pictures* of the delivered box, and *the packing slip on the box*, etc. I even cc'd their legal cell at [protected]@patanjaliayurved.org on the last email, but I have so far received *no response*, and the extra money for the wrong product delivery *has also not been refunded to me till now*. So CONSUMERS, please bear in mind that this is not just *blatant cheating*, but *absolute arrogance* that they refuse to even acknowledge the issue, let alone investigate it actively and fix the problem. They are simply saying to the customers that they don't matter. I ask every customer of Patanjali here to do this simple experiment that will not cost them anything except 1 minute of extra time when they do their next shopping with Patanjali: After you purchase your products from the Patanjali shop, check the items-amount-total manually before purchase and then see how much they charge you at the counter. I guarantee that 95% of the times, you will see that you are being overcharged *by mistake*, unless you are buying one or two items only. In every Patanjali store I have bought from in Bangalore, this is the case. I thought initially that this was a one-off with a particular store person, but now I realize that this rot is probably deep in their *corporate culture*. They ride on their brand name and swindle the unsuspecting customer, whether you shop on their physical store or online. Was this information helpful?
