Sir I have booked one ticket from ganganagar to ludhiana using paytm for 18.10.2015 (order id [protected]). on 18.10.2015 in afternoon I made a call at Virat travels office and asked weather bus will go to ludhiana or not (approx all buses were cancelled due to complete bandh in punjab) and i was told that bus will definitely go to ludhiana. while bording in night I was informed by bus staff and office personels that bus will not go to ludhiana and they will drop me 35 kms before ludhiana or in chandigarh. as I was aware that I will not get any mode of travel due to tensions and strike in punjab from last few days I decided to not to travel and after coming home I immediately wrote a mail to paytm and informed about the incidence and asked for refund of ticket. next day I got a reply cancellation is not possible as already cancellation time is over as per policy. I had made a call to paytm same day and informed them that the bus was cancelled on mean time for particular route and it is not my mikstake. even I was marked absent for monday and lost my salary for one day. i am not asking for compensation I am just asking that bus was cancelled by operator for ludhiana which is absolutely not my mistake. please refund fare and still from last 8 days I am writing to paytm and they are asking foolish questions or giving foolish replys. please do the needful pradeep chugh Was this information helpful? |
