PCMC — Property Tax Transfer Fees

Hello, My name is [censored]al Shamrao Chaudhari. We have purchased flat in PCMC Thergaon Area in Year 2020. However due to Covid situation, we were not able to transfer property tax immediately.

In last month, while applying for property transfer, i come to know about huge fees for that. for our said flat, they said we required to pay around 41000 in cash to transfer property tax.

so overall I want to raise two complaints here-
1. Property transfer fee - why there is sudden change in fees for property tax transfer? we are paying our property tax on time and also as part of sale, we pay all taxes to PCMC. Please do let me know how property Transfer fee calculated
2. for property tax filling or like xfer, only cash payment mode available. there should be provision for UPI or Cheque payment.
