[Resolved]  Pepperfry — Cancellation of Order

I placed an order with Pepperfry and by mistake I added 2 items. I realized my mistake and called them to cancel 1 of the items. This call was placed within 2 hours of placing the order.

The items are scheduled for delivery sometime in October (a month from now). However, pepperfry flatly refused to cancel the order.

I am surprised that when the item is not shipped, they not ready to cancel.

The product is not even shipped, scheduled for October and they are refusing to cancel. What do you plan to do? I am going to post on social forums to not purchase anything from pepperfry, this is thugging.

I placed an order of Hawkins 3 ltr presdure cooker today. Immediately after placing the order i realized that delivery date is much later than my requirement. Within 15 mins. of placing the order i called them to request to arrange if the order can be received by 8th May ( i placed the order today, i.e. 28th April and scheduled delivery is 14th to 18th May). They said they cant assure anything in this regard.
While asked them on how to cancel the order, they rudely said they do not have any cancellation policy.
I had ordered a table last night. Within half an hour, I had dropped an email requesting cancellation. Today, I had a chat with two of their customer executives. One of them was extremely rude to me. "You should have thought before purchasing...", "You should have read our policies". I requested a call with the manager and they told me that they don't have the authority to do that.

What kind of service is this?

And their cancellation policy makes no sense. I am not getting pleasure out of this situation either. I ordered something which I do not need. And I cancelled within minutes. And the delivery is days from now.

I see there are numerous complaints online regarding their cancellation policy. Just google it.

i am totally cheated, Worst service pepper fry, I placed order for 3 door wardrobe and I wanted to cancel the order just after 30 min after placing order, Wanted to buy a 2 door wardrobe, i called customer service and they were very rude and no help. And the delivery will be after 20 days from date order placed, i live in Bangalore metro city and i see the delivery time is horrible. its the worst i ordered from pepperfry. wherein i wanted to cancel one item from that but they did not allow me to cancel.. i no longer needed the product. kindly help
Pepperfry cancellation policy is very worst, they are not ready to cancel the product. They are not even ready to share the invoice for the prepaid products until they ship the product. Please don't prefer Pepperfry for purchasing any product.
Please do not buy any product from pepper fry. They will not accept cancellation of order. Customer service representatives are pathetic. Customer service representatives are very rude and very unprfessional. Never ever buy any product from Pepperfry, they will for sure fry you like pepper and the name suggest. I ordered study table. My experience with customer care to cancel the order was pathetic and finally after 45 minutes conversation could not succeed in cancellation. They will not understand any of your problem and once money is paid to them you just need to forget.

Dear Rathan, we are a marketplace company and provide our merchants a platform to sell their products. Hence, we do not accept cancellation once the order is placed.
Becareful from pepperfry online platform, I had booked office chair and that promise delivery time we get delayed we forget it. After we get delivery office chair it broken arm rest. We complained they refused to replace or repair. Within a week broken armrests I m surprised and I invited my plastic specialist engineer he said the chair plastic materials is recycled and poor quality. We humbly request to everyone buyer do not purchase from pepperfry online platform they are very rude and mannerless staff. The cheater platform. Becareful.
