I ordered a gaming chair last year on 24th August from pepperfry.com. The order ID for the same was :[protected] and costed me 11076 rupees.
A few months back I started having issues with the chair. The upper layer of fabric started to come off. The recliner lock mechanism is also not working which means the back of the chair reclines even with very less force (which means I cannot take back support and started having pain in my lower back).
I contacted customer support and they were kind enough to arrange a carpenter visit for me. The carpenter visited me and checked out the chair and told me he cannot fix it. He also asked for 100 rupees to write the same thing in his review and inform his superior this very thing. He told me this is my only chance to get replacement of the defective product.
I paid him 100 rupees and contacted back the customer care. He told me there is nothing more he can do and cannot replace the product. When I asked to provide me contact information for their superiors, he refused me.
