[Resolved] Pepperfry — Pepperfry not refunding my money | |||||
Pepperfry has been delaying the refund of my money for the return raised for one of their items purchased by me. As per their policy, the refund process should be initiated within 24 hours of the customer raising the request, however it has been 2 weeks now and still they are not initiating the process. Every-time I speak to them through phone, chat and email, they revert by stating that the return has not been initiated by me as there is no such order no. mentioned in their return queue. I further sent them the screenshot of the return raised by me and the photo of the product, even so they still revert stating that I need to follow the steps required to raise the return. I am unable to follow the steps on their website again as the return link has been greyed out, that happens when the return is raised by the customer first time. The screenshot clearly shows that. I have sent those emails but chatted with them and every time after I prove that I have followed the steps, the chat representative commits that they will initiate the return process, however nothing happens and have to prove and make them understand in every chat on daily basis. The reason for returning the product is the fact that it is little different than what is shown on the website, stitching is unclean, shabby looking, difficulty in using it and no finesse at all. Their Pick-up guys called me at 10 PM at night on 2nd Jan asking if they can pick-up the product. When I informed them that if I get another call at late night, I will report to the police (as this was the second time their guys were calling me late night), then it stopped. I informed them that the pick-up has to be done before 12.00 PM afternoon as no-one is available after that, however the guys call me everyday in the evening asking if they can pick-up then.
I have sent email to the guy who said that he works under the CEO however I do not see any efforts by Pepperfry to return my money even after committing to it.
Pepperfry should keep their apologies as I don't need rather I need my money back at the earliest.
