Periyar University — Abrupt increase in the fees for online MBA Executive Leadership program

I wish to highlight the blunders committed by University of Mysore's online MBA program supported on University18 learning platform.

Initially, when my admission was confirmed in July 2023, I opted for MBA - Executive Leadership and paid the required fees of around Rs. 92000/-. I opted for MBA - Executive Leadership as it would add more value to my skills as I am already having around 20 years of experience in the IT industry. However, after 1 month of my admission confirmation, I was asked to pay Rs 2, 88, 000/- which is 3 times more than what I initially paid, to continue with MBA - Executive Leadership as there was a mistake done by the University of Mysore team

Please refer to the email sent to me by the University of Mysore's team. The option given to me is to either pay the remaining fees or change the specialisation itself. The specialisation offered to me doesn't go well with my experience and will not add any value.
