PNB MetLife — Refund not received against cancellation of policy withing freelook period | |||||
Dear Concern I had applied for the freelook cancellation of a PNB Metlife policy No [protected] within the freelook period. I was cheated by fraud agents into believing that the policy required a one-time payment only which I later found out from the branch office that it was a 3-year premium policy. On getting the information I requested for a cancellation as i had not received the policy documents yet. No update has been provided by pnbmetlife customer care and on repeated reminders they have replied saying that the email id is not registered with them. Although earlier I was mailed the soft copy of the policy on the same mail id(attaching mail from PNB Metlife). I have tried to contact multiple avenues in order to either get my mail id updated or do the needful to get the policy cancelled. But till date i have not received a single concrete response from them. Please treat this matter with urgency as I was literally duped into applying for the policy and now neither have I received the documents nor the policy in question was cancelled and the premium amount refunded to me. I have provided all necessary details including cancelled check, bank account details and hand written complaint to their branch office in Kolkata but to no avail.
