Prestige Smart Kitchen — Schott glass based stove | |
I had purchased a schott glass based stove 2 years back. At the time of initial use (within 50 days of purchase) I had encoutered a gas leakage and registered a complaint to Prestige. Subsequently a service engineer visited from M/S Shilpa Enterprises, Villivakkam as I am residing in Anna nagar at that time. The person visited is not a quality prestige service engineer (which I had know only at a later stage) and he tried to fix this issue by using screw driver and cutting player and trying to twist the burner set. During this course of action the welding part of the plate underneath and the schott glass is damaged (Which I know only now through another engineer visited from Prestige for a different issue). I had the issue of rust and holes in the plate underneath of the burner and I had called the prestige center and a person visited from Kodambakkam ( as i am residing in saligramam now). He tried to fix the new plate but not able to and found out the welding part is broken. I had told him the story happend with shilpa enterprises and he asked me how he can use the screw driver and other tools and make it perfect and because of this only the welding is gone. To rectify he is telling me that I have to spend Rs 4500 to replace the schott glass and other things. This damage is purely done by the unskilled service engineer from M/s Shilpa enterprises and I want this be fixed by Prestige without any additional cost or replace the stove.
