Punjab National Bank [PNB] — Non receipt of debit card for 1 and a half months. Branch and CCARE helpless. | |||
In March 1st week, I opened a PNB A/C at Gauhati University Branch, Kamrup Metro, Assam through online a/c opening and fulfilling the KYC at the branch. I had opted for a Debit card during the online application. As of April 7, I still had not received the Debit card. I made a visit to the branch who told me that they cannot do anything from their side as the system is showing the status as "Debit card applied for". Repeated visits and also repeated talks with Customer CARE executives have resulted in nothing. The Branch told me to raise a complaint online in PNB Site which I did on 7th April itself. Complaint ID is CW[protected]. On 12th April, I received a mail/sms saying that my complaint has been resolved. How was my complaint has been resolved when I still have not received the debit card? As of today that is 21 April 2021, Branch tried to issue me a Non personalized card. But that too failed because the system did not allow them to do so. Something about "Primary entry card no. not found". Please tell me what I should do. I am losing all hope in the bank. Will I never get a debit card or what ? Kindly do something.
