PVR Cinemas — Delay in Pathaan Movie screening by more than half an hour from the actual show timings

Hi Customer Care,

My name is Anoop Varghese and I had booked the 9.30 am morning show for Pathaan Movie on 26th January at PVR cinemas, Vega City Mall, Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore (seat no. J5 Audi IMAX Screen 02). My main complaint is that the 9.30 am show started only after 10 am which is more than an half an hour delay. First of all we had to wait outside till 9.45 am to gain entry into the hall. Upon enquiry, the reason given was hall cleaning which they started only after 9.20.am for a 9.30 show post which there was more than 15 mins of Ad breaks after entry into the hall and the show only started well after 10 am. My query here is does PVR think that the people who come to watch the movies are so full of time hence they could afford to waste more than half an hour of all those people who come to watch the movie? Please give a proper explanation in this regard as this is an unacceptable thing and if PVR couldn't start the show at 9.30 am then they could change the show timings to after 10am instead rather than wasting time of the customers. Would be awaiting a response or else am thinking to escalate this complaint further.
