I went in #PVR Grand Highstreet Pune to watch the movie #PATHAAN on 13 Feb.
I directly went to kiosk and asked for Recliner ticket. The ticket seller on POS gave me option of Non Recliner category ONLY so I booked K8 and K9 in 10 PM show and paid Rs.440 and proceed to Audi 3.
Movie started and I saw that the Recliner Seat is vacant. As my wife is pregnant, I shifted to that seat. 10 Min passed and a person named Nihal Mandre came to me who was supposed to be on the ticket kiosk and asked for ticket. We showed him the ticket and he asked us to purchase another ticket for the Recliner. I handed him a Rs 500 note and asked him to get my tickets updated as I was in mid of movie.
He denied and asked us to shift to another seat. I requested him that since the seat is vacant and also my wife is pregnant so I'll shift in intermission.
To my surprise, he started acting rudely and took me outside in mid of movie and made me purchase the ticket again for Rs 700 and also wasted my 15 mins of movie. Because of him I lost the link and couldn't understand the movie till the end. So basically, I paid for 4 tickets and still was not able to watch the movie with mental peace.
He also told me that he is canceling the earlier ticket and I will get refund in 3-4 days but today 10 days has been passed.
I want this to bring to the notice of @_PVRCinemas @PVRSupport so that no other person can be harassed and mentally tortured by such goons when one is spending time with the family.
have few questions
1) Why Recliner option was not given when the seat was vacant ?
2) Why usher was not there to locate the seat prima facie ?
3) Who gave the permission to this ticket seller guy to come in between and take away our mental peace which was not his duty ?
